The Swachhata Hi Seva-2018 programme was organized by College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam in Association with Reliance Foundation on 22.09.2018. Dr. S. Balasubramanian, Dean, College of Fisheries Engineering and Commissioner, Tahsildar of Nagapattinam, Mr. Jayaprakash Govindan, Project Manager of Reliance Foundation was inaugurated the “Rally for Swachhata Hi Seva programme” along with NSS volunteers’ of College of Fisheries Engineering and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture and Research Institute, Karaikal. Initially, the Rally was organized between Nagore bus stand to Nagore Pattanancherry Fishing Harbor. Secondly, the entire Nagore Pattanancherry Fishing Harbor was cleaned. About 80 NSS volunteers’, faculty members of College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam municipality workers and members of Reliance Foundation participated in this rally and cleaning activity of Swachhata Hi Seva programme. This event was co-ordinated by Dr. K. Rathnakumar, Professor and NSS programme Officer Dr. M. Ramar, Assistant Professor, College of Fisheries Engineering.
