The College of Fisheries Engineering, Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam organized a NSS special Camp (7 Days) in Amrita Nagar, Samanthanpettai, Nagapattinam during 02-08 may 2019 with the theme of “Contribution of students to environmental protection”. In this camp, about 24 students of B.Tech (Fisheries Engineering) were participated. In the first day of this programme, the student volunteers cleaned the premises of the municipality middle school, Samanthanpettai and the inauguration function was started at evening of first day. Mr. K. Mohammed Shihab, Chief Manager, Canara Bank, Nagapattinam was the Chief Guest. In his speech he insisted the importance of the social service by the students which can improve the personal skills of the students to become future leaders. Dr. K. Rathnakumar, Dean i/c of CoFE has presided over the event and all panchayat leaders of Samanthanpettai took part. In the second day morning, the student volunteers cleaned the school premises, Community Hall and evening Dr. K. Rathnakumar conducted awareness programme on hygienic handling of fish onboard was demonstrated to fishermen at fish landing center. Dr. N. Manimehalai delivered a guest lecture about an importance of sea foods and value added fish products in school premise for the benefits of fisherwomen. During the third day, the student volunteers cleaned the fish landing center and planted 100 numbers of trees in school, community hall and various places of Samanthanpettai. In the fourth day morning, the student volunteers cleaned the community hall and evening Dr. Sheik Alaudeen, MD (AM) gave demonstration on General Health Care for women. During the fifth day morning, general medical camp was conducted and more than 100 peoples were benefited and same day evening Mr. JC. Bharanidharan has given an awareness of how to crack central and state government exams and Mr. Santhanakumar, Boson, College of Fisheries Engineering demonstrated Navigation, Seamanship and nautical science for fishermen at fish landing center. Onthe sixth day morning, rally was organized to free the ocean from plastic pollution and evening Mr. Neelakandan, Alert Foundation along with Reliance Foundation-Information Service gave demonstration on the first aid and sea safety. Dr. P. Karthickumar, Assistant Professor of CoFE, demonstrated various value added fish products to self-help group of fisherwomen. Mr. Santhoshkumar, Assistant Professor of Dr. MGR FC&RI, Thalainayeru conducted awareness programme on endangered marine animals and responsible fishing methods to fishermen. Mr. Gangadharan, Branch Manager, Indian Bank, Melavanjore was the Chief Guest of the valedictory function along with the Head Master of Municipality Middle School and all panchayat leaders of Samanthanpettai. Dr. K. Rathnakumar, Dean i/c of CoFE, presided over the event and also thanked the gathering for making the event a grand success. This NSS Special Camp was coordinated and organized by NSS Program Officers Dr. M. Ramar and Dr. M. Kamalakannan, Assistant Professors of College of Fisheries Engineering.
நாட்டு நலப்பணித் திட்ட சிறப்பு முகாம்இ மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகம்இ நாகப்பட்டினம் - 02.05.2019-08.05.2019
மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி, தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகம், நாகப்பட்டினம் 02-05-2019 முதல் 08.05.2019 வரை அமிர்தா நகர், சாமந்தான்பேட்டை நகராட்சியில் நாட்டு நலப்பணித்திட்டம் 7 நாள் சிறப்பு முகாமானது சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பில் மாணவர்களின் பங்களிப்பு என்கின்ற தலைப்பில் நடைப்பெற்றது. இந்த முகாமில், இளங்களை பொறியியல் (மீன்வள பொறியியல்) 24 மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சித் திட்டத்தின் முதல் நாள் அன்று மாணவர்கள் சாமன்தான்பேட்டை நகராட்சி நடுத்தரப் பள்ளிக்கூடத்தினை சுத்தம் செய்தனர், இதனை தொடர்ந்து தொடக்க விழாவானது மாலை தொடங்கியது. நாகப்பட்டினம், கனரா வங்கியின் தலைமை மேலாளரான திரு. கே. முகமது ஷிஹாப் அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக பங்கேற்றார். எதிர்காலத் தலைவர்கள் ஆவதற்கு மாணவர்களின் தனிப்பட்ட திறன்களை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காகவும் மாணவர்களின் சமூக சேவையின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை அவர் வலியுறுத்தினார். முனைவர். கு ரத்னகுமார், முதல்வர் (பொறுப்பு) தலைமை தாங்கினார் மற்றும் இதில் சமந்தான்பேட்டையிலுள்ள அனைத்து பஞ்சாயத்து தலைவர்களும் பங்கேற்றனர். இரண்டாவது நாள் காலை, மாணவர்கள் பள்ளி வளாகம், சமுதாயக் கூடம் சுத்தம் செய்தனர் மற்றும் மாலை முனைவர். கு ரத்னகுமார் அவர்கள் மீன் இறங்கும் மையத்தில் மீனவர்களுக்கு மீன் சுகாதாரமான கையாளுதல் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது. முனைவர். நா. மணிமேகலை மீனவப் பெண்களுக்கு கடல் உணவுகள் மற்றும் மதிப்பு கூட்டப்பட்ட மீன் பொருட்கள் ஒரு முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றி ஒரு சிறப்புரையை பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் வழங்கினார். மூன்றாவது நாள், மாணவர்கள் மீன் இறங்கும் மையத்தையும், சமுதாய கூடத்தினையும் சுத்தம் செய்தனர் மற்றும் சாமன்தான்பேட்டையில் உள்ள பல இடங்களில் 100 மரங்கன்றுகளை நட்டனர். நான்காவது நாள் காலை, மாணவர்கள் சமுதாய கூடத்தினை சுத்தம் செய்தனர், மாலை டாக்டர் ஷேக் அலூதீன்இ எம்.டி அவர்கள் பெண்களுக்கு பொது உடல்நலப் பாதுகாப்பு பற்றி விரிவுரை வழங்கினார். ஐந்தாம் நாள் காலை, பொது மருத்துவ முகாம் நடத்தப்பட்டது, இதில்100 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மக்கள் பயனடைந்தனர் மற்றும் அதே நாள் மாலை திரு. பரனிதரன் அவர்கள் மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில வேலைவாய்ப்புகளில் உள்ள தேர்வு முறைகள் பற்றியும் அதனை எவ்வாறு எழுதுவது குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தினார். இதனைதொடர்ந்து திரு. சந்தானகுமார், போஸன், மீன்வள பொறியியல் கல்லூரி அவர்கள் மீனவர்களுக்கான கப்பல் பயணம், கடல்வழி மற்றும் கடல் விஞ்ஞானம் ஆகியவை மீனவர்களுக்காக மீன் இறங்கும் மையத்தில் விழிப்புணர்வு முகாம் நடத்தப்பட்டது. ஆறாவது நாள் காலை, பிளாஸ்டிக் மாசுபாடு கட்டுப்பாடு குறித்த விழிப்புனர்வு பேரணி நடைப்பெற்றது. திரு. நீலகண்டன், அலர்ட் அறக்கட்டளை மற்றும் ரிலையன்ஸ் அறக்கட்டளை-தகவல் சேவை இணைந்து - முதலுதவி மற்றும் கடல் பாதுகாப்பு பற்றி விளக்கினார். முனைவர்.ப. கார்த்திகுமார் உதவி உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் அவர்கள் மகளிர் சுய உதவிக் குழுவுக்கு பல்வேறு மதிப்பு சேர்க்கப்பட்ட மீன் தயாரிப்பு பற்றி செய்முறை விளக்கம் அளித்தார். திரு. சந்தோஷ்குமார், உதவியாளர் பேராசிரியர், டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம், தலைஞாயிறு அவர்கள் அழிவின் விளிம்பில் உள்ள கடல் விலங்குகள் மற்றும் மீனவர்களுக்கு வேண்டிய பொறுப்பு மீன்பிடி முறைகள் குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தப்பட்டது. நாட்டு நலப்பணித்திட்டத்தின் கடைசி நாளில், மேலவஞ்சூர் இந்திய வங்கியின் கிளை மேலாளர் திரு. கங்காதரன், நகராட்சி நடுநிலைப்பள்ளியின் தலைமை ஆசிரியர் மற்றும் சாமன்தான் பேட்டையிலுள்ள அனைத்து பஞ்சாயத்து தலைவர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டனர். முனைவர். கு ரத்னகுமார் அவர்கள் தலைமை தாங்கி மற்றும் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை வெற்றிகரமாக மாற்றிய அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்தார். இந்த சிறப்பு முகாமை முனைவர். மா. இராமர் மற்றும் முனைவர். மே. கமலகண்ணன், உதவிப் பேராசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் நாட்டு நலப்பணி திட்ட அலுவலர்கள் அவர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைத்து நடத்தினர்.
