The Institute of Industrial Fishing Technology, DIVF, Ramanathapuram have organized the “Distribution of Nilavembu water and Campus Cleaning Programme” at Government Elementary School, Sundaramudaiyan, Ramanathapuram District on 11.02.2022 by taking part of 75th Independence day of India under the guidance of Director, Dr.N.Neethiselvan. The Head Master, Government Elementary School, Sundaramudaiyan distributed the Nilavembu drinks to Students, Teaching Staff, Non-Teaching Staff and Contractual Staff of the School. All the students and staff of the institute actively participated in the programme. The cleaning programme concentrated more in collection of plastic waste and also ensured the removal of weed plants in the campus. The students targeted the plastic waste in and around campuses where as staffs focused on removal of weed plants present in and around campuses by using gardening tools. IIFT staff coordinated all the arrangements for the event.

75வது சுதந்திரத்திருநாள் அமுதப்பெருவிழாவினை கொண்டாடும் விதமாக, மீன்பிடித் தொழில் நுட்பக்கல்லூரி, அரியமான் கடற்கரை, இராமநாதபுரம் சார்பாக சுந்தரமுடையானில் அமைந்துள்ள அரசு தொடக்கப்பள்ளி மாணவ மாணவியர்களுக்கு நிலவேம்பு கசாயம் வழங்குதல் மற்றும் பள்ளி வளாகம் சுத்தம் செய்தல் என்ற தலைப்பின் கீழ் 11.02.2022 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. பள்ளி தலைமையாசிரியர் அவர்கள் மாணவர்களுக்கு நிலவேம்பு கசாயம் கொடுத்து நிகழ்ச்சியை தொடங்கி வைத்தார். அதன் பின்னர், மாணவ மாணவியர்கள் பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் உள்ள நெகிழி பொருள்களை அகற்றும் பணியையும், இவ்வியக்குனரகத்தின் அலுவலகப் பணியாளர்கள் முட்புதர் களைச்செடிகள் மற்றும் மக்கும் குப்பைகள் ஆகியவற்றை அகற்றும் பணியையும் சிறப்புடன் செய்தனர்.
