The Directorate of Incubation and Vocational Training in Fisheries (DIVF), a constituent unit of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, sponsored Three months Certificate Course on "Fishing Technology and Fish product preparation" was inaugurated today by Dr. S. Felix, Vice Chancellor of TNJFU on the occasion of World Food Day (16.10.2018). During his presidential and inaugural address he gave the details of three years vocational degree course on Industrial Fish Processing Technology offered at Rayapuram, Chennai and One year diploma course on Aquaculture Entrepreneurship offered at Madhavaram, Chennai apart from the above certificate course. He added that youth of the fisherman community need to be skillfully strengthened by these kind of certificate courses. Dr. D. Sukumar, Director, DIVF, Ramanathapuram, during his welcome address elaborated the importance of such vocational training courses in fisheries and detailed the efforts taken by the Vice- Chancellor, TNJFU on the skill up-gradation of fisher youth. Dr. G. Sugumar, Dean, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi explained the objectives of the certificate course in his felicitation address. Mrs. N. Chandra, Joint Director of Fisheries (Regional), Thoothukudi stressed the need for such vocational certificate courses for solving unemployment issues among fisher youth. Dr. J. Jegadis, Principal Scientist, Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute also gave the felicitation address. Dr. N. Neethiselvan, Professor and Head, Centre for Incubation and Vocational Training in Fisheries, Thoothukudi, delivered the vote of thanks and Mr. R. Velmurugan, Assistant Professor, DIVF, coordinated the entire inaugural function.

மீன்பிடி தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் மீன்பொருட்கள் தயாரித்தல் - சான்றிதழ் படிப்பு துவக்கவிழா

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வள பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமாக ராமநாதபுரத்தில் செயல்பட்டு வரும் மீன்வள தொழில்காப்பகம் மற்றும் தொழில்சார் பயிற்சி இயக்குனரகத்தின் தூத்துக்குடி மையத்தில் மீன்பிடி தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் மீன்பொருட்கள் தயாரிப்பு பற்றிய மூன்று மாத கால சான்றிதழ் படிப்பை பல்கலைக்கழக துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர் சுக. பெலிக்ஸ் உலக உணவு தினமான இன்று (16.10.2018) துவக்கி வைத்து தலைமையுரையாற்றினார். அவர் தமது உரையில் மீன்வள நான்காண்டு இளநிலை அறிவியல் படிப்பு மட்டுமின்றி இவ்வாண்டு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் சார்பில் மூன்று ஆண்டு மீன்வள தொழில்முறை மீன்பதன பட்டப்படிப்புரூபவ் சென்னை ராயபுரத்திலும் ஓராண்டு தொழில்முறை மீன்வளர்ப்பு பட்டயப்படிப்பும் சென்னை முட்டுக்காட்டிலும் துவங்கப்பட்டிருப்பதை தெரிவித்தார். மீனவ சமுதாய இளைஞர்களின் திறன் மேம்பாட்டிற்காக இப்பாடத்திட்டங்கள் துவங்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கூறினார். இச்சான்றிதழ் படிப்பை அளிக்கும் இயக்குனர் முனைவர் து. சுகுமார் அவர்கள் இ;வ்வகை தொழில்சார் கல்வி திட்டங்களின் முக்கியத்துவத்தையும் அதற்காக துணைவேந்தர் எடுக்கும் முயற்சிகளையும் எடுத்து கூறினார். வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கிய தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி முதல்வர் முனைவர் கோ. சுகுமார் அவர்கள் இச்சான்றிதழ் படிப்பின் நோக்கத்தையும்ரூபவ் மீன்துறை இணை இயக்குனர் திருமதி. ந. சந்திரா அவர்கள் இப்பயிற்சியின் அவசியத்தையும் எடுத்துக் கூறினார்கள் . மத்திய கடல்மீன்வள ஆராய்ச்சி நிலைய முதன்மை விஞ்ஞானி முனைவர் ஐ. ஜெகதீஸ் அவர்கள் வாழ்த்துரை வழங்க மைய பேராசிரியர் நீ.நீதிச்செல்வன் நன்றியுரையாற்றினார். நிகழ்ச்சிகளை உதவி பேராசிரியர் ரா. வேல்முருகன் தொகுத்து வழங்கினார்.
