The Directorate of Incubation and Vocational Training in Fisheries, a constituent unit of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalitha Fisheries University, and the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Ramanathapuram District jointly organized the inauguration of ten days off-campus training on “Marine Engine Maintenance and Repair” was held on 02.12.2024. Mr. M. Kalaiarasan, Assistant Professor delivered the welcome speech and lecture. 25 fishermen from Rameswaram and Mandapam area participated in the training. Mrs. M. V. Prabhavathi was the special guest on the program. In his keynote address, he highlighted the benefits of training in the maintenance and repair of Marine engines to fishermen. She explained in detail the schemes brought by the central and state governments for the development of fishermen and also emphasized that the fishermen who got this opportunity would make good use of this ten-day training. Mr. M. Sivakumar, Assistant Director, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen's Welfare, Mandapam delivered the felicitation address. In his congratulatory address, he said that the role of Marine engine maintenance and repair training is essential. He also elaborated that this training will help in the economic development of fishermen and entrepreneurs will get priority for getting loans from the bank with this training certificate. He elaborated on the schemes brought by the Central and State Governments for setting up repair workshops for power boat engines as well as repairing two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Mr. M. Sivasudhalaimani, Automation Engineer delivered the vote of thanks.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஒரு அங்கமான மீன்வளத் தொழில் காப்பகம் மற்றும் தொழில்சார் பயிற்சி இயக்குனரகம் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு திறன்மேம்பாட்டுக் கழகம், இராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டம் இணைந்து நடத்தும் “கடர்சார் எஞ்சின் பராமரித்தல் மற்றும் பழுதுநீக்குதல்” என்ற பத்து நாள் உள்வளாகப் பயிற்சியின் துவக்க விழாவானது 02.12.2024 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. பயிற்சியின் ஒருங்கினைப்பாளர் திரு. மு. கலையரசன், உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் வரவேற்புரை மற்றும் பயிற்சி விளக்க உரை நிகழ்த்தினார். பயிற்சியில் இராமேஸ்வரம் மற்றும் மண்டபம் பகுதியைச் சார்ந்த 25 மீனவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். திருமதி. மா. வெ. பிரபாவதி, அவர்கள் நிகழ்ச்சியின் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகக் கலந்து கொண்டார். அவர் தமது சிறப்புரையில் மீனவர்களுக்கு கடர்சார் எஞ்சின் பராமரித்தல் மற்றும் பழுது நீக்குதல் பயிற்சியின் மூலம் ஏற்படும் நன்மைகளை பற்றி எடுத்துரைத்தார். மேலும், மீனவர்களின் மேம்பாட்டிற்கு மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அரசுகள் கொண்டு வந்த திட்டங்களை விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். 25 மீனவர்களில், 4 மீனவர்களாவது தொழில்முணைவோராக உருவாக வேண்டும் என்று எடுத்துரைத்தார். மேலும், இந்த வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்த மீனவர்கள் இந்த பத்து நாள் பயிற்சியினை நன்றாக பயன்படுத்தி கொள்ளும்மாறு எடுத்துரைத்தார். திரு. மா. சிவக்குமார், உதவி இயக்குநர், மீன்வளம் மற்றும் மீனவர் நலத்துறை, மண்டபம் அவர்கள் வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினார். அவர் தமது வாழ்த்துரையில் கடர்சார் எஞ்சின் பராமரித்தல் மற்றும் பழுதுநீக்குதல் பயிற்சி பற்றிய பங்கு இன்றியமையாது என்றும் மேலும் இப்பயிற்சியானது மீனவர்களின் பொருளாதார மேம்பாட்ற்க்கு உதவும் என்றும் மற்றும் இப்பயிற்சி சான்றிதலை வைத்து வங்கியில் தொழில்முணைவோர் கடன் பெறுவதற்கு முன்னுரிமை கிடைக்கும் என்று விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். இரண்டு சக்கர வாகனங்கள் மற்றும் நான்கு சக்கர வாகனங்கள் பழுதுபார்ப்பது போல் விசைப் படகு என்ஞினை பழுதுபார்க்கும் பட்டறை அமைப்பதற்கு மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அரசுகள் கொண்டு வந்த திட்டங்களை விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். திரு.மா. சிவசுடலைமணி, தானியங்கி பொறியாளர் அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார்.
