"Harnessing the Science of Fisheries for Food, Nutrition and Livelihood"
As an early measure to prevent the outbreak of viral fever in the college campus premises, under the guidance of Dr.N.Neethiselvan, Director of the institute conducted a campus cleaning programme on 26.01.2022. All the students of the institute actively participated in the programme. Since the programme concentrated more in removing weed plants present in the campus and also segregating both organic and inorganic matter from the collected wastes. The cleaning programme also ensured the removal of stagnant water in small pits, which will ensure the arrest of breeding of mosquitoes. Mr.M.Kalaiarasan, Assistant Professor and IIFT staff coordinated all the arrangements for the event.
