Infrastructure

The area allotted for various activities inside the hatchery are as follows:

• Larval rearing and Nursery section (5,100 square feet)
• Live feed section (1716 square feet)

The hatchery is supported with Pump room, Blower room, Water treatment room and an overhead tank.

The instruments / pumps and tanks of the following capacity are present.

• FRP Tanks – 102 Tonnes Volume
• Pump – 10 Hp made of SS 316 non-corrosive steel
• Blowers - 7.5 HP x 2 Numbers and 1.5 HP x 2 No

• Rapid Sand Filter – 2 Numbers with individual flow rate of 31,200 L/Hr
• Reservoir of 50 T capacity for settlement of seawater.
• Reservoir of 50 T capacity for settlement of seawater.
