Mandates of the Centre:

To establish farming facilities for standardizing farming technology for Lepidocephalithys thermalis (Ayirai Meen).
To develop demonstration farm for the dissemination of technology.
To train the farmers for mass adoption of the technology.
To popularize and further develop the loach farming in the state.
