A 7-day NSS camp organized at Thirumalai Nagar, Pazhaverkadu between 20.05.2024 and 26.05.2024, with activities like special technical talks on conservation and management of fisheries and forest resources by fisheries and forest department officials, tree plantation by Netaji Tree Bank, medical camp by Tamilnadu Science Forum, beach and street cleaning by students and sports for village children. NSS student representatives coordinated the programme along with NSS officer.

1. Plantation of coconut trees around the farm complex done on 07.06.2024, as part of the UN day on “World Food Safety Day” celebration organized under the theme for the current year – “Food Safety: Prepare for the Unexpected”, in the presence of Mr. Chandrasekar, Food Safety Officer, Tiruvallur District; and Mrs Nimish Mol Stephen, Assistant Professor coordinated the event.
2. Plantation of 100 Nos of flowering shrubs around the college front done on 13.06.2024, to enhance beauty cover, by the students, teaching and non teaching staff; and Dr.Kannan, Physical Director coordinated the program.
