Campus Placement Drive at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi

Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University with its forty constituent units offers quality and advanced education in Fisheries and Aquaculture.  The students graduating from this university have a wider scope of employment opportunity in various parts of India.  Students Placement Cell running under FCRI, Thoothukudi support the students to secure better job in various fisheries companies.  As part of the student’s placement, a campus interview was conducted on 29.04.2019 for the benefit of UG and PG students. Assistant Project Manager, MPEDA-RGCA Artemia Project, Tharuvaikulam, Thoothukudi  Mr. M. Samayakannan, headed the interview committee.  Ten B.F.Sc students and four M.F.Sc. students attended the campus interview.  Based on their talents and interest five students were short listed.

While speaking on the occasion, the Dean i/C, Dr. P. Velayutham highlighted various courses offered by the university and offered guidance to attend the interview effectively and advised the students to confidently face the interview. He also highlighted other job opportunities available for the students. Dr. N. V. Sujathkumar, Professor and PG coordinator offered felicitation. Mr. M. Samayakannan, APM, Artemia project, explained various activities of MPEDA RGCA.  The program was coordinated by Dr. P. Jawahar, Professor and Chairman, Student Placement and Counselling Cell (SPC), FC&RI, Thoothukudi.

மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் வளாக வேலைவாய்ப்பு நேர்க்காணல்

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் அதன் 40 கிளைகளும் மீன்வளத்திற்கும் மீன்வளர்ப்பிற்கும் தரமான மற்றும் முன்னேற்றமான கல்வியைத் தரணிபோற்ற தந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது.  இந்தியாவின் பல இடங்களில் இங்கு பயின்ற மாணவர்கள் நல்லதொரு வேலைவாய்ப்பினைப் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.  தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் வேலைவாய்ப்புப் பிரிவு படித்து முடித்த மாணவ மாணவியர்களுக்கு நல்லதொரு வேலைவாய்ப்பினை பல்வேறுபட்ட மீன்வள நிறுவனங்களிடமிருந்து பெற்றுத் தந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது.  அதன் ஒரு பங்காக 29.04.2019ல் வளாக வேலைவாய்ப்பு நேர்க்காணல் ஒன்றை இளநிலை மற்றும் முதுநிலை பட்டாதாரிகள் பயன்பெறும் வகையில் நடத்தியது.  MPEDA-RGCA  திட்டத்தின் உதவி திட்ட மேலாளர் திரு. எம். சமயகண்ணன் நேர்காணல் குழுவுக்குத் தலைமை வகித்தார்.  10 இளநிலை மற்றும் 4 முதுநிலை மாணவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.  அவர்களுடைய தகுதி மற்றும் விருப்பத்தின் அடிப்படையில் 5 நபர்கள் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டனர். 
நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்டு முதல்வர் (பொ) முனைவர் ப.வேலாயுதம் அவர்கள் பல்கலைக்கழகம் அளித்துவரும் பல்வேறுபட்ட படிப்புகளை பற்றி விரிவாகப் பேசினார்.

மேலும் அவர் மாணவர்களை நேர்க்காணல் சந்திப்பதற்கு ஊக்கப்படுத்தி தன்னம்பிக்கையுடன் செல்லுமாறும் அறிவுறித்தினார் இதுதவிர, மாணவர்களுக்கான பல்வேறுபட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்புகளைப் பற்றியும் விளக்கினார்.  முனைவர் என். வி. சுஜாத்குமார், பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் முதுநிலை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் அவர்கள்  பாராட்டுரையாற்றினார்.  திரு. எம். சமயக்கண்ணன், உதவித் திட்ட மேலாளர் ஆர்டீமியா திட்டம்  MPEDAவின் செயல்பாடுகளைப் பற்றி விரிவாகக் கூறினார்.  நிகழ்ச்சிக்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை பேராசிரியர், மாணவ வேலைவாய்ப்புப் பிரிவு தலைவர் மற்றும் ஆலோசனை பிரிவு முனைவர் பா.  ஜவஹர் அவர்கள் சிறப்பாக செய்திருந்தார்.
