Three days on-campus training programme on “Inland Fisheries and Fishing Gear Fabrication, Operation and Mending”

The Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics and Department of Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering of this institute have jointly conducted a need based Three days on-campus training programme on “Inland Fisheries and Fishing Gear Fabrication, Operation and Mending” from 27.09.2021 to 29.09.2021 at FC&RI, Thoothukudi. In this programme, the trainee has actively participated and gained knowledge on various aspects of inland fisheries, classification of inland fishing gears, fishing gear fabrication, fishing gear operation and mending and economics and marketing. The aim of this training programme was to provide the trainee an idea about inland fisheries and fishing gear fabrication which will pave way for self-employment of the trainee. Dr.N.V.Sujathkumar, Dean in-charge appreciated the participant and encouraged him to become a successful entrepreneur. He also motivated the trainee to approach this institute for any further training in the field of fisheries. The training programme was coordinated by Dr.T.Umamaheswari, Assistant Professor, DFEES and Mr.T.Ravikumar, Assistant Professor, DFTFE.

மூன்று நாட்கள் உள்வளாக பயிற்சி ”உள்நாட்டு மீன்வளம் மற்றும் மீன்பிடி வலை பின்னுதல், வீசுதல் மற்றும் பழுதுபார்த்தல்” (27.09.2021 முதல் 29.09.2021 வரை) நடைபெற்றது

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம், பொருளியல் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறை மற்றும் மீன்பிடி தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் துறை இணைந்து ”உள்நாட்டு மீன்வளம் மற்றும் மீன்பிடி வலை பின்னுதல், வீசுதல் மற்றும் பழுதுபார்த்தல்” என்ற தலைப்பில் மூன்று நாட்களுக்கான பயிற்சி 27.09.2021 முதல் 29.09.2021 வரை வழங்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியில் உள்நாட்டு மீன்வளம் சார்ந்த தகவல்கள், உள்நாட்டு மீன்பிடி வலைகள் மற்றும் அதன் வகைகள், மீன்பிடி வலை பின்னுதல், வீசுதல் மற்றும் பழுது பார்த்தல், உள்நாட்டு மீன்வளா்ப்பில் பொருளாதாரம் மற்றும் மீன்கள் சந்தைப்படுத்துதல் போன்றவற்றை பயிற்சியாளா் அறிந்து கொண்டனா். பயிற்சியாளா் உள்நாட்டு மீன்வளத்தில் சுயதொழில் மேற்கொண்டு பயன்பெற வேண்டும் என்பதே இப்பயிற்சியின் நோக்கமாகும். முனைவா் ந.வ.சுஜாத்குமார், முதல்வா் (பொ), மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம், தூத்துக்குடி அவா்கள் பயிற்சியாளரை பாராட்டியதொடு தொழில் முனைவோருக்கான தகுதிகளைப் பெற்று சுயதொழில் தொடங்க வேண்டும் என்று ஊக்குவித்தார். மேலும், இக்கல்லூரி மூலம் வழங்கப்படும் பல்வேறு மீன்வளப் பயிற்சிகளில் கலந்து கொண்டு பயன் பெற வேண்டும் என்று தெரிவித்தார். முனைவா் த.உமாமகேஸ்வா, உதவிப்பேராசிரியர், மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம், பொருளியல் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறை மற்றும் திரு.ரவிக்குமார், உதவிப்பேராசிரியர், மீன்பிடி தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் துறை ஒருங்கிணைத்து நடத்தினார்கள்.
