One Day On Campus Training on “Periphyton Based Fish Farming”

Department of Aquaculture, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Dr. J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University offered one day on campus training programme on Periphyton Based Fish Farming on 24.02.2022. A total of 14 trainees, from various parts of Tamil Nadu were participated. During this training programme, the various aspects of Periphyton Technology such as Basics of periphyton, Importance, Species selection, Culture techniques, Advantages, Practical utility and economic benefits were taught to the trainees.

Demo on periphyton based fish farming were also shown to the trainees. Dr.N.V.Sujathkumar, Dean i/c distributed the certificates to the participants and spoke on the importance of this training programme to motivate the aqua farmers community to take up periphyton based fish farming in their places. The aim of this training programme was to provide an idea on periphyton based fish farming which will pave way for self employment of the trainees.

தமிழ் நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப்பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஒரு அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் “ஒட்டுண்ணுயிரி தொழில் நுட்ப முறையில் மீன் வளர்ப்பு’’ பற்றிய ஒரு நாள்; வளாக வழியிலான பயிற்சி 24.02.2022 அன்று நடைபெற்றது. இதில்; 14 பயனாளிகள் தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளிலிருந்து கலந்து கொண்டு பயன் பெற்றனர். இப்பயிற்சியில் ஒட்டுண்ணுயிரி என்றால் என்ன முக்கியத்துவம் இத்தொழில் நுட்பத்திற்கேற்ற நீர் வாழ் உயிரினங்களின் வளர்ப்பு முறைகள் பயன்பாடுகள் செயல் திறன் மற்றும் பொருளாதார மேலாண்மை ஆகிய தலைப்புகளில் தொழில் நுட்ப விளக்க பயிற்சி வழங்கப்பட்டது.

இப்பயிற்சியின் நிறைவு விழாவில் மீன்வளக்கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ந.வ.சுஜாத்குமார் அவர்கள் பயிற்சியில் கலந்து கொண்ட பயனாளிகளுக்கு சான்றிதழ்களை வழங்கினார். மேலும் அவர் தனது உரையில் இப்பயிற்சியின் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்தும் எடுத்துரைத்தார். இப்பயிற்சியின் மூலம் தொழில் முனைவோர் மற்றும் இதர நபர்கள் சுய தொழில் தொடங்குவதற்கு வழிவகையாக அமையும். திரு. அ. அனிக்ஸ் விவேக் சந்தியா உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மீன் வளர்ப்பு துறை அவர்கள் இப்பயிற்சியை விரிவாக நடத்தினார்.
