NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT FISHERIES COLLEGE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE, THOOTHUKUDI

National Science Day was observed at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Thoothukudi on 28.02.2022.

On this occasion, the various competitions such as Drawing Competition on Imagining the Future of Science of Technology and Innovation, Debate Competition on “Whether World is in our hand or Mobile is in our hand”, Competition on Art from Waste, Science Snap and Mind Game were conducted among the students. Selvi Swathi IV B.F.Sc. welcomed the gatherings. Selvi Aruna IV B.F.Sc. offered National Science Day special note. Dr.S.Athithan, Vice-President of Students’ Association spoke on the occasion and delivered Vice-President’s address. Dr.N.V.Sujathkumar, Dean in-charge delivered his presidential address and distributed the prizes and certificates to the winners & runners. Further, he is also distributed the certificates of merit and participation to students for the slogan writing competition on “My Favourite Patriotic Leader” (English & Tamil) conducted in the month of February 2022 as a part of Commemoration / Celebration of 75 th Anniversary of India’s Independence Day (Azadi Ka Amri Mahotsav).
