74th Republic Day Celebration

Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi, a constituent college of Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam celebrated the 74 th Republic Day. The teaching and non-teaching staff of Fisheries College and Research Institute participated in the programme by maintaining social distance. Dr.B.Ahilan, Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi was escorted to the Dias by the Security Staff Commander, Students representative, Asst. Director of Physical Education and the Sports Secretary. A guard of honour was performed by the Security staffs. Dr.B.Ahilan, Dean unfurled the National Flag and the College Staff, Students and Security Personnel honoured the National flag. P.Shabee Prisha and V.Sadhana students of this college delivered their speech on patriotism in Tamil and English respectively.

On this occasion, Dr.B.Ahilan, the Dean presented the Best Worker Awards to Mr.N.A.P.Anbukumar, SIF among ‘B’ group employees, Mr.K.Murugan, Attender among C group employees and Mr.S.Devaraj, among D group employees and Mrs.Petchiammal among contractual employees for their best performance during the year 2022. Dr.G.ArulOli, Assistant Professor and Dr.R.Shalini, Assistant Professor have recognized their service for report preparation towards ICAR Accreditation. Subsequently, in his Republic Day address reminded the sacrifices of those great men and women who played pivotal roles in building the Independent India. He spoke about patriotism in present day context and reminded all to take the vision of our Prime Minister to work for a New India which would make our valiant freedom fighters proud. Sweet distribution was done at the end of the programme. The entire programme was co-ordinated by Dr.D.Natarajan, Asst. Director of Physical Education. A volley ball match between staff and students was also organized in this celebration.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 74வது குடியரசு தினவிழா கொண்டாட்டம்

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடியில் உள்ள மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் 74வது குடியரசு தினவிழா மிகவும் சிறப்பாக கோவிட்-19 நெறிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றி பாதுகாப்பாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. இவ்விழாவில் இக்கல்லூரியின்; ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் அலுவலகபணியாளர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் திரளாக சமூக இடைவெளிவிட்டு கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்பித்தனர். இவ்விழாவிற்கு பாதுகாப்பு கமாண்டர் மாணவர் பிரதிநிதி உதவி உடற்கல்வி இயக்குநர் மற்றும் விளையாட்டு செயலர்; அவர்கள் இக்கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் அவர்களை விழாமேடைக்கு அழைத்து வந்தனர். பாதுகாப்பு பணியாளர்கள் முதல்வருக்கு மரியாதையை நிகழ்த்தினர். இக்கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் அவர்கள் நமது தேசிய கொடியை ஏற்றி மரியாதை செலுத்தினார். மேலும் கல்லூரியின் மாணவர்கள் ஆசிரியர்கள்; அலுவலக பணியாளர்கள் மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு பணியாளர்கள் தேசிய கொடிக்கு மரியாதையுடன் வணக்கம் செலுத்தினார்கள். மீன்வள கல்லூரியின் மாணவிகள் செல்வி P. சபீனா பிரிஸா மற்றும் செல்வி வி.சாதனா ஆகியோர்கள் முறையே தமிழ் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் குடியரசுத்தினத்தை குறித்து சொற்பொழிவு ஆற்றினர்.

இக்கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் அவர்கள் 2022ம் ஆண்டிற்கான சிறந்த பணியாளர்களாக திரு.N.யு.P.அன்புக்குமார், திரு.கோ.முருகன், திரு.சீ.தேவராஜ் மற்றும் திருமதி.பேச்சியம்மாள் ஆகியோர்களுக்கு விருதுகள் வழங்கி கௌரவித்தார்கள். பின்னர் ஐஊயுசு அங்கீகாரம் பெற பணியாற்றிய முனைவர் கோ.அருள்ஓளி மற்றும் முனைவர் இரா.ஷாலினி ஆகியோர்களுக்கு விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டது. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து இக்கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் அவர்கள் குடியரசு தின உரையில் இந்திய சுதந்திரத்திற்காக பாடுபாட்ட முன்னோர்களின் தியாகங்களை நினைவுகூர்ந்து எடுத்துரைத்தார். மேலும் அவரது உரையில் பாரத பிரதமர் அவர்களின் வழியில் புதிய இந்தியாவை உருவாக்க பாடுபட வேண்டும் என்று எடுத்துரைத்தார் இதுவே நாம் தியாகிகளுக்கு ஆற்றும் கடமையாகும். நிறைவாக, இவ்விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்ட அனைவருக்கும் இனிப்பு வழங்கி சிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டது. விழாவிற்கான ஏற்பாடுகளை உதவி உடற்கல்வி இயக்குநர் முனைவர் த.நடராஜன் ஒருங்கிணைத்தார். இறுதியில் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்கள்களிடையே கைபந்து போட்டி நடத்தப்பட்டது.
