District Level Competition on Silambam - Won Gold Medals by our student

The District Level Competition on Silambam was conducted by Tamil Nadu Sports
Development Authority, Thoothukudi District on 21.02.2023 and 22.02.2023 at Tharuvai
Statium, Thoothukudi. Mr.V.Subhash, II B.F.Sc. student of FC&RI, Thoothukudi took
part in this contest. He won two Gold Medals in Alangara Veechu and Double Stick
Veechu events of Silambam and received Appreciation Certificate from the Thoothukudi
District Collector. Subsequently, he also competed in the State Level Silambam
Competition on 01.07.2023 and 02.07.2023 at Chennai. He has appreciated and
congratulated by the Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi and staff of this institute for his great
performance.
