On Campus Training on Mud Crab & Lobster Fattening Held on 28.06.2024 At Fisheries College & Research Institute, Thoothukudi - 628 008

Department of Aquaculture, Fisheries College & Research Institute, Thoothukudi offered on campus training programme on Mud Crab & Lobster Fattening on 28.06.2024 between 9.30 am to 5 pm. A total of 23 trainees including 5 women’s from in and around Thoothukudi district were participated successfully.

During this programme, the various aspects of mud crab & lobster fattening including marketing and economic aspects along with  emonstrations was taught to the trainees. Field visit was also made to the trainees to Tharuvaikulam. Video show on lobster fattening cultivation was also shown to the trainees.

Dr.B.Ahilan, Dean distributed the certificates and interacted with the participants and stressed the importance of mud crab & lobster fattening as a livelihood option to improve one’s financial status.
