Training Programme on "Freshwater Ornamental Fish culture" conducted on 21.10.2024 at Fishers College and Research Institute,Thoothukudi

Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi organized a one-day training programme on “Freshwater ornamental fish culture” on 21.10.2024. This programme was organized by the Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics (DFEES) of this institute. Dr. B. Ahilan, Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi felicitated the programme. During the training, the classes such as commercially important ornamental fish species, water quality management in freshwater ornamental fish culture, breeding of freshwater ornamental fish egg layers and live bearers, feeds and feeding management in ornamental fish culture, Disease management in ornamental fish culture, marketing, economics and entrepreneurship development in ornamental fish culture were taught for the benefit of trainees. A total of 14 beneficiaries participated and benefitted from the training programme. Training certificates were issued to the trainees by Dr.B.Ahilan Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi. This program was organized by Dr.G. Arul Oli, Assistant Professor and Head i/c, DFEES and co-ordinated by Dr.B.Manikandan and Ms. M. Geetha Assistant Professors (C), of DFEES. FC&RI, Thoothukudi.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் “நன்னீர் அலங்கார மீன் வளர்ப்பு” குறித்த ஒரு நாள் பயிற்சியானது 21.10.2024 அன்று அளிக்கப்பட்டது.

    தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம், பொருளியல் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறையின் மூலமாக “நன்னீர் அலங்கார மீன் வளர்ப்பு” என்னும் தலைப்பில் 21.10.2024 (திங்கட்கிழமை) அன்று ஒரு நாள் பயிற்சி வகுப்பு நடத்தப்பட்டது. கல்லூரி முதல்வர் முனைவர் ப. அகிலன் அவர்களால் தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்ட இப்பயிற்சியில் பல்வேறு முக்கியமான பாடங்களான நன்னீர் அலங்கார மீன் இனங்கள், முட்டை மற்றும் குட்டி ஈனும் அலங்கார மீன் இனங்களின் இனப்பெருக்கம், நீர்த்தரக்கட்டுப்பாடு, செயற்கை உணவு தயாரித்தல், நோய் மேலாண்மை மற்றும் பொருளாதாரம் குறித்த தொழில் நுட்பங்கள் கற்பிக்கப்பட்டது. இப்பயிற்சியில் 14 நபர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு பயன் பெற்றனர். மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம். பொருளியல் மற்றும் புள்ளியில் துறையின் உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் துறைத்தலைவர் (பொறுப்பு) முனைவர் கோ. அருள் ஓளி அவர்களால் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்டு முனைவர் பூ. மணிகண்டன் உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் (ஓ) மற்றும் செல்வி ம. கீதா, உதவிப்பேராசிரியர் (ஓ) அவர்களால் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
