Student of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi Won “Mr. and Miss. RYLA 2018”

The Rotary Club of SPIC Nagar conducted their annual programme on “Rotary Youth Leadership Awards 2018 (RYLA 2018)” on 26 – 28 October 2018. Forty students from 8 colleges participated in RYLA 2018 which had the theme, “Towards Achievements”. Several skill development training sessions such emotional intelligence, positive attitude, inter personal relationship, values & ethics, situational leadership, and public speaking skills were imparted to the participants from various colleges. Competitions were held among the participants testing the cultural and intellectual powers of the students. Eight students from Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi participated in RYLA 2018 and won several prizes in the competitions. Mr. E.Sakthivel of I B.F.Sc and Miss. M.Semeena of II B.F.Sc., have won the “Best Rylarian 2018 (Boys) and Best Rylarian 2018 (Girls)” titles respectively bringing laurels to the Institute. The performance of all participants from Fisheries College and Research Institute and especially that of Mr. E.Sakthivel and Miss. M.Semeena was appreciated by the Dean, Dr.G.Sugumar and Vice-President of Student’s Association Dr.S.Athithan.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கிடையே ரோட்டரி கிளப் நடத்திய போட்டியில் “சிறந்த ரைலேரியன் 2018”பட்டத்தை வென்றார்கள்

தூத்துக்குடி ரோட்டரி கிளப் “ரோட்டரி யூத் லிடர்ஷிப் அவார்டு 2018” (ரைலா 2018) என்ற பெயரில் நடத்தும் திறன் மேம்பாட்டு நிகழ்ச்சியின் கீழ் பல்வேறு விழிப்புணர்வு சொற்பொழிவுகளையும் ரூபவ் கலைநிகழ்ச்சிகளையும் ரூபவ் திறன் மேம்பாட்டு பயிற்சிகளையும் ரூபவ் போட்டிகளையும் அக்டோபர் 26 - 28 ஆகிய நாட்களில் நடத்தியது. இந்த போட்டிகளில் தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள 8 கல்லூரிகளிலிருந்து 41 மாணவர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். இதில் தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்திலிருந்து 8 மாணவ-மாணவியர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு பல்வேறு பரிசுகளை பெற்றனர். குறிப்பாக முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவன் செல்வன் சக்திவேல் “சிறந்த ரைலேரியன் (மாணவன்) 2018” மற்றும் இரண்டாம் ஆண்டு மாணவி செல்வி செமீனா “சிறந்த ரைலேரியன் (மாணவி) 2018” பட்டத்தை தட்டிச் சென்றனர். தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் கோ.சுகுமார் அவர்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் துணைத்தலைவர் முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன் ஆகியோர் பங்கு பெற்ற மாணவ-மாணவியரை குறிப்பாக செல்வன் சக்திவேல் மற்றும் செல்வி செமீனாவை வெகுவாக பாராட்டினார்கள்.
