“Run for Unity” on the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Fisheries College and Research Institute

Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University organized the Mini Marathon “Run for Unity” on the 143 rd birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi on 31.10.2018. A total of 38 boys and 33 girls from the constituent colleges of Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University participated. Shri. Murali Rambha, IPS., Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi District was flagged off the race such as 5 km run for boys from Rajaji Park and 3 km run for girls from Govt. Polytechnic college end point at Fisheries College and Research Institute Playground. Mr. M. Anbalagan, Mr.M. Suryaprakash and Mr. S. Samson Romertho have won the first three places in boy’s category and Miss. S. Sangeetha, Ms. K. Kanimozhi and Ms. V.S. Vaghisha have won the first three places in girl’s category. Shri. Murali Rambha, IPS., Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi District distributed by the Medals and Trophy. The Chief Guest in his addressed remembered the great effort of the Iron man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in unifying the disparate princely states after independence and urged that unity and integrity are the need of the hour for taking the nation forward. He pledged the support of all youth in maintaining unity and Harmony to bring about better India. Dr.G.Sugumar, Dean, Students’ Welfare welcomed the gathering and congratulated the winners as well as all participants. Mr. F. Parthiban, Sports Secretary delivered vote of thanks. The event was organized by the Directorate of Students’ Welfare, TNJFU and the NSS Unit of Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi. Dr. D. Natarajan, Assistant Director of Physical Education and Mr. T. Ravikumar, NSS Secretary Coordinated the event.

தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தில் சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேலின் 143வது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு ஓற்றுமைக்கான ஒட்டப்பந்தயம்

சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேலின் 143வது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு 31.10.2018 அன்றுரூபவ் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக் கழகத்தின் சார்பில் மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கான மினி மராத்தான் போட்டி ‘ஓற்றுமைக்கான ஓட்டம்’ என்ற பெயரில் மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம் நடத்தியது. இதில் பல்கலைகழகத்திலுள்ள 5 கல்லூரிகளிலிருந்து மொத்தம் 38 மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் 33 மாணவிகள் பங்கு பெற்றனர். இப்போட்டியை தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட காவல்துறை கண்காணிப்பாளர் திரு. முரளி ரம்பா அவர்கள் கொடியசைத்து தொடங்கி வைத்தார். மாணவர்களுக்கான 5 கி.மீ ஓட்டப்பந்தயம் தூத்துக்குடி இராஜாஜி பூங்காவிலிருந்தும் மாணவிகளுக்கான 3 கி.மீ ஓட்டப்பந்தயம் அரசினர் பாலிடெக்னிக் கல்லூரியிலிருந்தும் தொடங்கி மீன்வளக்கல்லூரியின் விளையாட்டு மைதானத்தில் நிறைவுற்றது. இப்போட்டியில் மாணவர் பிரிவில் முதல் பரிசு செல்வன். அன்பழகன்ரூபவ் இரண்டாம் பரிசு செல்வன் சூர்யபிரகாஷ்ரூபவ் மூன்றாம் பரிசு செல்வன் சாம்சன் ரோமர்தோ மற்றும் மாணவியர் பிரிவில் செல்வி.சங்கீதாரூபவ் இரண்டாம் பரிசு செல்வி. கனிமொழிரூபவ் மூன்றாம் பரிசு செல்வி. வகிஷா வெற்றி பெற்றனர். வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவரூபவ் மாணவிகளுக்கு தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்ட காவல்துறை கண்காணிப்பாளர் திரு.முரளி ரம்பா அவர்கள் பரிசு கோப்பை மற்றும் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கினார். மேலும் அவர் தமது உரையில்ரூபவ் சுதந்திரத்திற்கு பின்பு காணப்பட்ட பல சிறிய ராஜியங்களை ஒன்றுபட்ட இந்தியாவாக மாற்றுவதற்கு இரும்பு மனிதரான சர்தார் வல்லபாய் படேலின் உழைப்பை நினைவுகூர்ந்தார். மேலும்ரூபவ் இளைய சமுதாயத்தினரை ஒன்றுபட்ட இந்தியாவை முன்நடத்தி செல்ல உறுதிமொழி ஏற்குமாறு அறிவுறுத்தினார். ஒற்றுமை மற்றும் நல்லிணக்கம் மூலமாக நல்லதொரு இந்தியாவை உருவாக்கலாம் என்றும் உரையில் கூறினார். முனைவர் கோ.சுகுமார்ரூபவ் முதல்வர் அவர்கள் வரவேற்புரை நிகழ்த்தி வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கு வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் விளையாட்டு செயலாளர் திரு. பா.பார்த்திபன் அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை வழங்கினார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் மாணவர் நலனுக்கான இயக்குனரகம் மற்றும் நாட்டு நலப்பணித்திட்டம் ஒருங்கிணைத்தது. உதவி உடற்கல்வி இயக்குநர் முனைவர். த. நடராஜன் மற்றும் நாட்டு நலப் பணித்திட்ட ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு. ரவிக்குமார் அவர்களும் இந்நிகழ்ச்சிக்கான அனைத்து ஏற்பாடுகளை செய்தார்கள்.
