Valedictory function of Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School Programme on “Boat Driver License Certificate Course” from 23.05.2025 to 30.05.2025

The Department of Fishing Technology and Fisheries Engineering (DFT&FE) of Fisheries College and Research Institute (FC&RI), a constituent unit of Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University organized a one week on-campus training programme on “Boat Driver License Certificate Course” from 23.05.2025 to 30.05.2025 under Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School Programme with the funding support of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Chennai. A total of 22 fishermen from Kanyakumari district participated in this training programme. The valedictory function was held on 31.05.2025 at 10.00 a.m. at the Office of the Assistant Director, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Chinna muttom fishing harbour, Kanyakumari district. Mr.S.Mariappan, Assistant Professor and Programme Co-ordinator, DFT&FE, welcomed the gathering. Thiru. Chinna kuppan, Deputy Director, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari district served as chief guest. He appreciated the efforts of FC&RI and requested that similar training programmes be conducted for more fishermen of Kanyakumari district. He also issued Boat Driving Licences to 22 fishermen who successfully completed the training programme. Thirumathi V. Deepa, Assistant Director, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Chinna muttom, Kanykumari district delivered presidential address. In her address, she spoke about the importance of the driving licence certificate course and the support provided by TNJFU for conducting of this course. Thiru. K. Lakshmi Kanthan, Assistant Director, also graced the occasion and delivered their felicitation address. Er. A. Antony Michel Prabhakar, DFTFEE, Assistant Engineer delivered vote of thanks.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஓர் அங்கமான மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் மீன்பிடித் தொழில் நுட்பவியல் மற்றும் மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் துறையானது. நான் முதல்வன் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் சென்னையில் அமைந்துள்ள தமிழ்நாடு திறன் மேம்பாட்டுக் கழக நிதியுதவியுடன் நடத்தும் "படகு ஓட்டுநர் உரிமச் சான்றிதழ் படிப்புப் பயிற்சி” என்ற ஒரு வாரகால உள்வளாகப் பயிற்சியானது 23.05.2025 முதல் 30.05.2025 வரை நடைபெற்றது. இதன் நிறைவு விழாவானது 31.05.2025 அன்று காலை 10.00 மணியளவில் சின்ன முட்டம் மீன்பிடித் துறைமுக வளாகத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள உதவி இயக்குநர், தமிழ்நாடு மீன்வளம் மற்றும் மீனவர் நலத்துறை அலுவலகத்தில் வைத்து நடைபெற்றது. இவ்விழாவில் கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டத்தைச் சார்ந்த 22 மீனவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டார்கள். மீன்பிடித் தொழில் நுட்பவியல் மற்றும் மீன்வளப் பொறியியல் துறையின் உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் பயிற்சித் திட்ட ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் திரு. ச. மாரியப்பன் அவர்கள் வரவேற்புரை வழங்கினார். நிறைவு விழாவிற்கு திரு. சின்ன குப்பன், துணை இயககுநர், தமிழ்நாடு மீன்வளம் மற்றும் மீனவர் நலத்துறை, நாகர்கோவில், கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டம் அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக கலந்து கொண்டு மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முயற்சிகளைப் பாராட்டிய அவர், மீன்பிடித் தடைக் காலத்தில் அதிகமான மீனவர்களுக்கு இதுபோன்ற பயிற்சித் திட்டங்கள் நடத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். மேலும், பயிற்சித் திட்டத்தை வெற்றிகரமாக முடித்த அனைத்து மீனவர்களுக்கும் படகு ஓட்டுநர் உரிமத்தை வழங்கினார். திருமதி. வெ. தீபா, உதவி இயக்குநர், தமிழ்நாடு மீன்வளம் மற்றும் மீனவர் நலத்துறை, சின்னமுட்டம், கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டம் அவர்கள் இவ்விழாவிற்கு தலைமையேற்றார். தனது தலைமையுரையில், ஓட்டுநர் உரிமச் சான்றிதழ் திட்டத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை மீனவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துரைத்தார். திரு. லட்சுமிகாந்தன், உதவி இயக்குநர்,மாவட்ட திறன் பயிற்சி அலுவலகம்,நாகர்கோவில் அவர்கள் வாழ்த்துரை வழங்கினார். திரு. அ. அந்தோணி மைக்கேல் பிரபாகர், உதவிப் பொறியாளர் ஆற்றினார். அவர்கள் நன்றியுரை ஆற்றினார்.
