Awareness programmes on "Freshwater fish farming" conducted on 19.06.2025 on the occasion of the commemoration day of TNJFU

Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi organized two off-campus awareness programme on “Recent technologies on freshwater fish farming” on the occasion of the commemoration day of Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University on 19.06.2025. This programme was organized by the Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics of this institute in collaboration with the TVS Srinivasa Service Trust at Rettai Tirupati, Srivaigundam Taluk, Thoothukudi.

This program covered topics such as feed and feeding management, water quality management, marketing, economics and entrepreneurship development in freshwater fish farming. Dr.B.Ahilan, Dean, FC&RI, Thoothukudi delivered the presidential address. In his address, he motivated the trainees to start up the entrepreneurial in freshwater fish culture to earn profit and to increase fish production. This program was organized by Dr.G.Arul Oli, Assistant Professor and Head i/c, and co-ordinated by Dr.B.Manikandan, Dr.V.Gomathy, and Ms.M.Geetha, Assistant Professors (C), Department of Fisheries Extension, Economics and Statistics. A total of 27 trainees benefitted from the training programme.

Department of Aquaculture of Fisheries College & Research Institute, Thoothukudi conducted Awareness Programme on Fish Farming for the benefit of Sakthi Vinayagar Higher Secondary School students on 19.06.2025 between 11 am and 12.30 pm. Dr.S.Athithan, Professor & Head, Department of Aquaculture delivered an awareness talk on Fish Farming.

“நன்னீர் மீன்வளர்ப்பில் நவீன தொழில்நுட்பங்கள்" குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியானது தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வள பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் நிறுவன நாளான 19.06.2025 அன்று நடத்தப்பட்டது.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர். ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் நிறுவன நாளை முன்னிட்டு மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையம், தூத்துகுடியின் சார்பாக "நன்னீர் மீன்வளர்ப்பில் நவீன தொழில்நுட்பங்கள்" குறித்த வெளிவளாக விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியானது 19.06.2025 அன்று நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின், மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம். பொருளியல் மற்றும் புள்ளியியல் துறை, டிவிஎஸ் சினிவாசன் சேவை மையத்துடன் இணைந்து தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் திருவைகுண்டம் தாலுகா, இரட்டை திருப்பதியில் நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்நிகழ்வில் மொத்தம் 27 விவசாயிகள் பங்கேற்று பயன்பெற்றனர்.

இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் நன்னீர் மீன்வளர்ப்பில் உணவு மற்றும் உணவிடுதல் மேலாண்மை நீர்த்தரமேலாண்மை வர்த்தகம் சந்தைப்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் பொருளாதாரம் குறித்த தொழில்நுட்பங்கள் கற்பிக்கப்பட்டது. தூத்துக்குடி, மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் முனைவர் ப.அகிலன் அவர்கள் தலைமையுரையில் நன்னீர் மீன் வளர்ப்பில் புதிதாக தொழில் துவங்கி நன்முறையில் லாபம் ஈட்டி பயன்பெற்று மீன்வளத்தைப் பெறுக்குமாறு பயிற்சியாளர்களை ஊக்குவித்தார். இந்நிகழ்ச்சி முனைவர் கோ. அருள் ஒளி, உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் (பொ) அவர்களால் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்டு, முனைவர்  பூ. மணிகண்டன், முனைவர் வெ. கோமதி மற்றும் செல்வி LD. கீதா, உதவிப் பேராசிரியர்களால் (ஒ) நடத்தப்பட்டது.

மேலும் மீன்வளர்ப்புத் துறையின் சார்பாக சக்தி விநாயகர் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் நலனுக்காக மீன்வளர்ப்பு குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சியை 19.06.2025 அன்று காலை 11 மணி முதல் 12.30 மணி வரை நடத்தியது. மீன்வளர்ப்புத் துறை பேராசிரியர் மற்றும் தலைவர் முனைவர் சா.ஆதித்தன் பல்கலைக்கழக விவரங்கள். 2025-260 ஆண்டிற்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கை பற்றிய விவரங்கள் மற்றும் மீன்வளர்ப்பு குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு உரையை நிகழ்த்தினார்.
