1. Sports facilities
  • Playground is available adjacent to the college. Students play Volley Ball, Badminton, Throw Ball and Foot ball in this playground.
  • Additional Space adjacent to PPIFT is to be cleaned with support from Estate Office for use by B.Voc. & B. Tech. students.
2. NSS – Details
  • NSS Programme is the part of the curriculum for the I semester B. Tech. (FT).
  • Students undertake activities within the campus like cleaning and greening the campus.
  • They participate in one week NSS Camps in villages. Two such camps have been conducted in Pathirivedu Village, Tiruvallur Distict. and next in Chunambedu, Chengalpattu District.
3. Hostel Details
  • Hostel Facilities are available for Girls and Boys within the campus for housing the students.
4. Placement cell and its activities
  • Committee constituted by the college.
  • Webinar and Seminars are conducted periodically with Food Industry persons from different sessions like Cereals, Dairy, Start-ups, MNCs, to inform students abour opportunities in the Food Sector.
  • Resumes collected and updated from the 2018-19 and 2019-20 batch students and details sent to different companies for placement through mail.
  • Passed out Students are working in various Industries like Cookie Man, Monsoon Bounty Foods Manufacturing Private Ltd., Samundi Food Product, ABC Processed Foods, Adyar Ananda Bhavan, etc., (30 students).
  • Some students are pursuing Higher Studies (15 students).
5. Details of students Grievance Redressal Committee and Ombudsperson
  • Committee constituted by the college and meetings conducted to get feedback.
6. Health facilities
  • First aid kit is available in Hostel and College.
  • Clean drinking water is available by providing RO Water Units in the Hostel and College.
7. Internal complaint Committee
  • Committee constituted by the college and follow up done to address issues mainly relating to Hostel facility.
8. Anti-Ragging Cell
  • Committee constituted by the college and when I year students are admitted and prevention of Ragging Duty assigned to the Faculty for first 03 months.
  • Anti-Ragging sensitisation activities like poster & essay wiring competition conducted.
9. Equal opportunity Cell
  • Committee constituted by the college and equal opportunity is given to Boys & Girls for all curricular and Co-curricular.
10. Facilities for differently – abled (e.g) barrier free environment)
  • Ramp is available in the College and Hostel (Boys and Girls).

12. Alumni Associate with details
  • The passed out students of 2018-19 and 2019-20 batches are participate in the IQAC Meeting regularly and registered in the Alumini Association and representative.
