Nation’s 75 th Independence Day was celebrated at College of Fish Nutrition and Food Technology, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai on 15.08.2021. Dr.Usha Antony, Dean hoisted the National Flag. On this occasion, while delivering her speech, the Dean highlighted and remembered the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and emphasized that young minds should bear those things in mind and focus on the positive aspects of Independent India and the program was followed by distribution of Certificates to the prize winners for the competition conducted on world food safety day. For the 75 th Independence Day celebration tree plantation programme was conducted in the college campus students planted the saplings. University Officers, teaching faculty, non-teaching staff and students of the University attended this programme following COVID 19 regulations.
