WORLD FOOD DAY,2020

World Food Day was celebrated in College of Fish Nutrition and Food Technology, Madhavaram, Chennai on through online platform on 16 th October. Dr.Usha Antony , Dean, CFNFT addressed the students and conveyed the message of responsible eating and stressed the importance of food safety.Dr.Brimapureeswaran, Assistant Professor, CFNFT briefed on the theme for the year 2020 Grow, nourish, sustain together. Our actions are our future". The students also indulged in various activitites such as video making on ‘Food Adulteration’ and survey on ‘Food safety competency at local food outlets, shops and home kitchen’.
