First College Day & Sports Day celebrated at IFBT, Vaniyanchavadi, Chennai

The first College Day and Sports Day were celebrated with fervour and enthusiasm at IFBT, Vaniyancahvadi, Chennai on 14.08.2018. Sports events were conducted in the morning session. This event was inaugurated by Dr. K. Karal Marx, Dean, IFBT. Stage events were held in the evening in the auditorium. The event started with lighting the kothuvilaku. Ms. R.Babitha, (I B.Tech) welcomed the gathering. This was followed by presidential address by Dr. K. Karal Marx. The Chief Guest for the day was Dr. D. Kathiresan, Director of Clinics (Retd.), MVC, TANUVAS, Chennai. He addressed the students with motivation and encouraging words. Mr. S. Jones Noel, (I B.Tech) and General Secretary delivered the vote of thanks. The event was hosted by B.Tech., (First Year) students Ms. G. Lavanya and Ms.R. Babitha, Dr. E. Suresh, Vice President – Students’ Union and Mr. N. Daniel, Sports Secretary coordinated the function. The celebration ended with national anthem.
