Women’s Day Celebration at IFPGS, Chennai

International Women’s Day was celebrated at IFPGS, Chennai on 08.03.2019. The programme started with welcome address by Dr. B. Chrisolite, Assistant Professor, followed by Chief Guest introduction by Ms. S. Nirmala (First Year B.Tech). Presidential address was delivered by Dr. K. Karal Marx, Dean i/c., IFPGS, Chennai. In his address, he highlighted the current status of women’s education and equality in workplace. The Chief Guest of the programme was Dr. K. Rajeshwari, Founder and Managing Director of Bioklone Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. She delivered a motivating speech on “Entrepreneurship Development” within the spirt of the event. All the students and staff were encouraged by her speech. Ms. P. Yazhilini and M. Aishwar (First Year B.Tech., students) shared their thoughts on Women’s Day celebration. Dr. E. Suresh, Assistant Professor who organized the programme, delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was anchored by Ms. D. Benolin (First Year B.Tech., student).
