74th Republic Day Celebration

Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University, Nagapattinam, celebrated the 74 th Republic Day with the flag unfurling of our National flag by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr.G.Sugumar. The tricolor was unfurled at TNJFU Administrative building, Vettar River View Campus, Nagapattinam with ceremonial events on 26 th January 2023.  The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor delivered the Republic Day speech with tributes to freedom fighters from Tamil Nadu. He remembered the sacrifices made by the social reformers and sensitized the major achievements of Independent India.  He appealed to the young professionals and faculty to board the Naan Mudalvan platform and sharpen their skills to strengthen the nation and contribute to nation-building. The Vice-Chancellor said that there is a need for a technological effort in the form of digital India to augment the quality of education. In recognition of the contribution and performance of the faculties and supporting staff, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor presented with awards/medals with a citation. The Best Teacher award was given to Dr. C. Judith Betsy, Assistant Professor, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi., while the Young Researcher Award was given to Dr. Deepak Agarwal, Assistant Professor, Institute of Fisheries Post Graduate Studies, Chennai. The Best Extension Worker award was presented to Mr. E. Hino Fernando, SMS, KVK, Sikkal.

The Best University Officer Award was presented to Dr. S. Balasundari, Dean i/c of Dr. M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thalainayeru. In addition certificates of appreciation were also given to Dr. J. Stephen Sampth Kumar, Director i/c of the Directorate of Sustainable of Aquaculture and Dr. P. Jawhar, Controller of Examination i/c. Students of the College of Fisheries Engineering also exhibited art and cultural events to mark the celebration of 74 th Republic Day. Dr. N. Felix, Registrar, TNJFU, welcomed the gathering and Dr. Mohamed Tanveer, Dean i/c, College of Fisheries Engineering, Nagapattinam proposed a vote of thanks. All University Officers, Teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, contractual staff and students attended the programme.

தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் குடியரசு தின விழா நிகழ்ச்சிகள்

26 ஜனவரி 2023 அன்று 74 வது குடியரசு தினவிழா நிகழ்வுகள் நாகப்பட்டினம் தமிழ்நாடு டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா மீன்வளப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் நிர்வாகக் கட்டிடத்தில் மூவர்ணக் கொடி ஏற்றத்துடன் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. மாண்புமிகு துணைவேந்தர் முனைவர். கோ. சுகுமார் அவர்கள் தேசியக் கொடியை ஏற்றி உரையாற்றினார். குடியரசு தின உரையில் சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரர்களுக்கு அஞ்சலி செலுத்தி சமூக சீர்திருத்தவாதிகள் செய்த தியாகங்களை நினைவு கூர்ந்தார். இளம் தொழில் வல்லுநர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்களை நான் முதல்வன் திட்டத்தில் சேர்ந்து தேசத்தை வலுப்படுத்தவும், தேசத்தை கட்டியெழுப்பவும் தங்கள் திறமைகளை கூர்மைப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று அவர் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார். கல்வியின் தரத்தை உயர்த்த டிஜிட்டல் இந்தியா வடிவில் தொழில்நுட்ப முயற்சி தேவை என்று துணைவேந்தர் கூறினார். ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் பணியாளர்களின் பங்களிப்பு மற்றும் செயல்திறனைப் பாராட்டி, மாண்புமிகு துணைவேந்தர் அவர்கள் பாராட்டுச் சான்றிதழுடன் விருதுகள்/ பதக்கங்களை வழங்கினார்.

சிறந்த ஆசிரியருக்கான விருது தூத்துக்குடி மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் உதவிப் பேராசிரியை முனைவர். சி. ஜூடித் பெட்ஸிக்கும், இளம் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர் விருது சென்னை மீன்வள முதுகலை ஆய்வுக் கழகத்தின் உதவிப் பேராசிரியர் முனைவர். தீபக் அகர்வாலுக்கும் வழங்கப்பட்டது. சிறந்த விரிவாக்கப் பணியாளர் விருது திரு. இ. ஹினோ பெர்னாண்டோ, தொழில் நுட்ப வல்லுனர் (மீன்வள விரிவாக்கம்), வேளாண் அறிவியல் நிலையம், சிக்கல் அவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. சிறந்த பல்கலைக்கழக அதிகாரிக்கான பாராட்டு சான்று தலைஞாயிறு டாக்டர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். மீன்வளக் கல்லூரி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிலையத்தின் முதல்வர் (பொ) முனைவர் எஸ். பாலசுந்தரிக்கு அவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது. மேலும் நீர்வாழ் உயிரின வளர்ப்பு இயக்குனரகத்தின் இயக்குநர் (பொ) முனைவர் ஜே. ஸ்டீபன் சம்பத் குமார் மற்றும் தேர்வுக் கட்டுப்பாட்டாளர் (பொ) முனைவர் பி. ஜவஹர் ஆகியோருக்கும் பாராட்டுச் சான்றிதழ்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. 74வது குடியரசு தின விழாவை முன்னிட்டு மீன்வள பொறியியல் கல்லூரி மாணவ, மாணவிகள் கலை மற்றும் கலாச்சார நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்தினர். முன்னதாக முனைவர் என். பெலிக்ஸ், பதிவாளர் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் வரவேற்று குடியரசு தின வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவித்தார், நாகப்பட்டினம் மீன்வள பொறியியல் கல்லூரியின் முதல்வர் (பொ) முனைவர். முகமது தன்வீர், அவர்கள் நன்றி கூறினார்.

அனைத்துப் பல்கலைக்கழக அலுவலர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள், பணியாளர்கள், மற்றும் மாணவர்கள் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்துகொண்டு சிறப்பித்தனர்.
