A Guide book on Co-operative Law book Released at Fisheries Staff Training Institute, Chennai

The important features of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act 3o of 1983 and the Rules thereunder has been incorporated according to the syllabus framed by the Fisheries Staff Training Institute, Chennai. This guide book is intended for the trainees as well as the officers who are technically qualified in fisheries sector to understand the implications of the important provisions of the Co-operative law and its rules to enable them to perform the duties effectively as the sub ordinate officers of the fisheries department are conferred with the powers of the Functional Registrar. The Officers of the Fisheries Department have to exercise the powers which are conferred to them properly without any litigation. Further, the contents of the book would be useful not only to the officers but also to the Administrators of the Fisheries Co-operatives and other Co-operators to a greater extent.
