Objectives

  • To provide service to fish and shrimp farmers and entrepreneurs by fast and accurate diagnosis of infections in aquaculture farms, thereby saving considerable hardships and economic losses to the fish and shrimp farmers in the state.
  • To provide water quality analysis for the fish and shrimp farmers for better management practices.
  • To provide technical guidance and problem resolution support to the marginal fish and shellfish farmers for efficient and economic operation of the fish and shrimp aquaculturists and ornamental fish farmers.
  • To offer training and awareness programs to the fish farmers, scientists, officers of the inline department and interested entrepreneurs.
