Tamil Nadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) has developed several novel educational programs under the dynamic leadership of the Honorable Vice-chancellor of TNJFU, Nagapattinam; focusing on the application of Science and Engineering in fisheries to improve the status of fisheries sector to Industry standard. Bachelor of Technology in Energy and Environmental Engineering is one such professional degree program offered at College of Energy and Environmental Engineering under Faculty of Fisheries Engineering. It is a self-supporting, constituent college of TNJFU located at the coastal town of Nagapattinam along the Bay of Bengal. This College is established during 2019 with a sole aim of producing Engineers with Fisheries, Energy and Environmental knowledge.
